Recently appointed as Head Designer of Thunderbird Clothing, Charm Logan is Cree and Métis from Treaty 8 and 6 Territory. She is a registered professional artist with Canada Council for the arts and has been designing since childhood. Charm began creating collections with collaborations since 1998 and began constructing her own lines in 2002. From sketching and beadwork to creating her own patterns, she has continued to gain notable career experience from showcasing her art in galleries and museums ( including an endorsement from the Smithsonian) to one of her collections being procured by retail giant Le Chateau.
Charms professional background was primarily regarded as being the lead producer for performing and visual indigenous arts. This history included producing showcases at Canadas most prominent venues with many acclaimed artists and powerhouse people like her favourites: Bruno Henry, Tammy Beauvais, Phil Fontaine, Ashley Callingbull,
Lindo P, Plex, Wab Kinew, Ioyan Mani (Maxine Noel), Cherie Miracle, Shawn Bernard, Michelle Thrush, Lightning Cloud, Tribe Called Red, Nathaniel Arcand and many more. Forming major partnerships with Native instituions and mainstream media and local artists to sponsorships from Redbull, Adidas, Evian and other businesses who celebrate diversity in the Arts industry. Charm has also served on many boards for Civic duties from the City of Edmonton to Winnipegs Urban Shaman Art Gallery where she mainted her role as Vice president for 7 years.
She was most notable for having put the first all Native designers, cast and crew on the world stage with Loreal Paris Fashion week in 2006, broadcasted in dozens of medias in over 136 countries. She
Continued producing these worldwide projects for a few more seasons until she decided to step back from promoting other designers and return her focus to her own creations and technical advancements.
Her cultural couture continues to charm audiences and clientele with collectors and audiences around the world.
